Jim and I began our website on April 30, 2014 as a way to answer people’s questions about us, our photography and my painting. People were expressing some interest in our work and Jim’s photography workshops. Initially, I considered doing a newsletter but in the end, we decided that a website would be a better fit for what we wanted to achieve.
As we were building our site, we thought about some of the subjects that we were interested in and the areas we felt we could share with others. We decided to focus our attention on photography, art, travel and learning as these subjects play a big part in our daily lives. It is our hope that by sharing our experience in these areas we will be able to help other photographers and creatives reach their goals. As creatives, we understand the importance of supporting and encouraging one another.
Jim and I consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to share the same interests and to learn from each other. In fact, we have been together since we were teenagers. Our first date was to see the Bee Gees at the Halifax Forum in 1975. Since then, we have had many wonderful adventures together and with any luck, we will continue to learn and grow for many years to come.
To see samples of our work, check out the Galleries. In Latest Work, you will find new images that are not in our Gallery. With these new images you will find some information about where the image was taken or how it was processed. In the Blog you will find Articles, Tutorials, News, Tips and Interviews relating to photography, art, travel and learning. If you would like to review our archived newsletter click here. If you like what you see, drop us a line. We would love to hear from you.
Thank you for stopping by our little corner of the internet.
