This is a video I created recently while on a trip to Maine to photograph lighthouses.
When we first entered our hotel room and turned on the lights, my eyes were drawn to the interesting shapes of the lamp and light on the green wall.
I took a photograph with my iPhone 8 Plus and later created a video using the App Pixaloop and iMovie. The music is entitled “Fox in the Field” by Mark Mothersbaugh.
When I decided to post this video, I searched for a quote about butterflies and came across this:
“Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.”
This quote is often attributed to Nathaniel Hawthorne; however, according to an investigation by Quote Investigator, this may not be the case.
There are a lot of quotes out there on the internet and it is easy to assume that they are accurately credited. Sometimes, mistakes are made. I have learned this while searching for quotes and I feel it is important, when sharing quotes, to double check their accuracy. This can be difficult sometimes but worth the effort.
